Cologne
Welcome to our homespot
About
With more than 1 mio inhabitants, Cologne is the fourth largest city in Germany. With the Rhine flowing through and the many beautiful areas right by the water this city is also called Köllefornia. Its landmark is the Cathedral, but there is also plenty to discover here.
Skate Spots
As location for the camp Cologne is a the perfect city. You will get to know various skate spots where you can also practice outside of lessons. All skate spots are easily accessible by public transport. In addition, toilets and restaurants are always within walking distance. If you need to cool off or grab a snack between sessions, you’ll definitely find what you’re looking for.
One of the spots where you’ll be practicing is the Deutzer Werft, which is now one of the best-known longboard spots in Germany. The Deutzer Werft is located directly on the Rhine and offers a marvellous view of Cologne’s landmark – the Cathedral. You will get to know the Köllefornia Vibe and get in touch with its lively rollsports community. In case of rain, we have an agreement with IKEA. Then, the lessons will take place in the parking garage.
One of the highlights of every all inclusive week or workshop week is the city tour. The city tour does not only give you a better idea of the area around the Rhine, it is also the event where we practice street cruising. In our opinion, this is one of the most effective ways to feel more comfortable on the board and develop a better board feeling.
