Special activities
City Tour
Explore Cologne
As a special activity, we’ll take a city ride through the heart of Cologne. Our route follows the Rhine, offering plenty of smooth paths that are perfect for longboarding. We’ll wrap up the tour at one of Cologne’s traditional breweries, where you can enjoy a refreshing Kölsch or a non-alcoholic drink.
You might wonder — why is this considered a training session? Because cruising from A to B is a key part of longboarding. It’s the best way to build confidence, get comfortable on your board, and learn to navigate real-life obstacles such as pavements, pedestrians, and cyclists. Plus, it’s a fun and unique way to experience the city from a different perspective.
Setup Workshop at Concrete Wave
Get to know your board
As a special activity, we’ll visit the local longboard shop Concrete Wave Skateshop, where we’ll walk you through all the components that make up a longboard. Many people find the variety of setups and gear overwhelming and don’t know where to begin — especially if you don’t yet own a board. This visit will give you a huge advantage.
At Concrete Wave, you’ll not only meet the friendly and knowledgeable shop team, but also get a clear overview of what’s out there. With one of the widest selections of longboard equipment in Europe, Concrete Wave is the perfect place to learn, explore, and get inspired.
